disneyland girls trip

so these are some pictures from our second 2010 trip to disneyland. this time it was just me and emily. we had so much fun on this trip...6 days in disneyland and could have done more!

here we go....

we got to the hotel, dropped off our bags, and took the next shuttle to disneyland.

we went in october so we were able to enjoy some of the halloween decorations in disneyland

am I getting taller...or is mickey getting shorter?

on this trip emily decided to brave splash mountain again (she did not enjoy it at all during our february trip) and she absolutely loved it, we went on over and over...

I love the face of the woman in the second seat!

it rained a couple of days while we were at the park (we had no rain gear) so we bought matching pirate hats to keep dry.

I really liked space mountain ghost galaxy... emily prefers the original

ok so im not the biggest fan of the california adventure park but I loved the world of color show! I ordered the world of color picnic so we had a decent view of the show, the food was not so decent (yuck)...
I don't know what it is but for some reason disney always seems to be able to bring tears to my eyes. this show was fantastic! I also loved the pixar parade at the california adventure.. I believe it was designed by the incredibly talented jody daily.

during our trip to disneyland in 2005 we saw the parade of dreams, this parade was so beautiful. it really captured the magic of disneyland.....

I was not all that impressed with the new parade: celebrate a street party. it really didn't feel "disney" to me.

we had such a great time! I can't wait until we can get back to the happiest place on earth!

I think California's swell

for as long as I can remember I've had an obsession with palm trees. It could be due to the fact that in most cases they are found in beautiful hot places..... in my neck of the woods there are no palm trees... :(

disneyland 2010... trip #1

I just love disneyland...it really is the happiest place on earth, they're not kidding.

I was lucky enough to get there twice last year. these are some pictures from our first visit in february. we took a road trip down from canada.

I can still remember my first time seeing the attraction when I was 6. I couldnt believe it had gone from hot sunshine to rain so quickly!
